They have the sound of someone who has been playing the oboe for about three years. That's why I ordered two more soft reeds and one medium reed.

It came in a genuine Fibercane case, but the case was broken and the foam padding was so dry and brittle that it had disintegrated all over the reed. I am going to assume that this was due to poor handling by USPS. I would recommend that in the future, the envelope be marked "FRAGILE!" These reeds come in 3 grades of stiffness, and the one I received is just perfect for my elderly embouchure. I'll order again!
