    The seller went above and beyond to package the part as to protect it during delivery. Through no fault of the seller, the post office messed up delivery and I had to claim it in person. The part was as described in great condition and an excellent value to extend the life of an appliance we received as a wedding present back when things were built out of metal and glass and not cheap plastic!     I didn't read the description of this item, which clearly stated it was missing an important part. When it arrived, I asked the seller for a refund, thinking the mistake was theirs. They got back to me offering the full refund, even though the problem was clearly my fault. That's pretty amazing!     Worth Every Penny & One of the Best Food Processors Available!

    This machine exceeds my expectations! It operates so smoothly and is very powerful. You rarely find a machine with this much power. I love that it has 2 very different sized bowls. It really expands the list of things you can do with it. I know this machine will last for years without problems and will make my cooking tasks so much easier. Getting it for a great price is icing on the cake. I'm very happy I got this machine!

    Lid fails about every 12-months even with light use

    The FP-12 is a great, top-of-the-line EXPENSIVE food processor that is built like a tank EXCEPT the lid, which is the achilles heel of the unit, specifically the seals inside - they tear, separate from the base (complicated series of tiny springs keep it in place) and the hard plastic ring breaks easily. So if you have the FP-12 then you need to replace the cover lid at least every other year when they invariably fail. Aside from poor durability, the design is lousy: it is a hassle to clean - hard to get into the crevices for soft foods and for harder foods it holds onto crumbs. It also has an odd locking mechanism.

    Two bowls, one hand operation…win/win!

    Bought this for a friend who recently had a stroke…I was hoping it will be operable with one hand, and I tested it this way. All the pieces click firmly into place and it was easy to clean by immersing in hot soapy water. The two bowls were the selling point, and the one-handed release on the handle are perfect. He will be able to use this all by himself. Thank you!

    Cuisinart gave us thoughtful design!

    This workhorse is worth having! Durable, easy to clean and very little to store because now the discs are adjustable and the bowls nest. Such a great design! I gave away my still-working Cuisinart to upgrade to this marvel. I wish I had done it sooner!

    Cuisinart Food Processor

    I did a lot of homework. I had a 7 cup Cuisinart and wanted a larger one. The Cuisinart Elite FP-12DCN 12 cup Die Cast is much heavier then any I had seen locally. I gave the smaller one away. I haven't used the new one yet, but I will soon. I gave the old one away, so here's hoping.........
