    Useful, but could be so much more.

    Handy info such as fuel level and servicing data are available away from the car, but it could be so much more looking at products like obdeleven. Obviously VW won't let you do VAGcom type things, but it's still limited.

    Vw connect dataplug

    Well where do i start :( 1: doesn’t find UK postcodes! 2: has to be programmed for ever journey 3: new journey has to be programmed if switch off engine for longer 10 mins ie petrol station! 4: obviously loose all data if no addresses programmed - so whats the point Reported to VW help-desk no answer as yet from 2 weeks ago but probs logged Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap! Come on VW how can you produce this!

    Handy but not really necessary!

    It’s ok! really a lot of the info it stores you don’t really need, but if your a tech nerd! it’s great, we managed all these years without it.

    Disappointing

    It's just a data plug , you can't change how your car works or alter the settings....all it will do is tell you to take it to a vw dealer.
