Michael Jordan wore the jersey number 12 only once in his NBA career, on Valentine's Day in 1990, during a game against the Orlando Magic. The reason was quite unusual: his iconic number 23 jersey was stolen from the Bulls' locker room before the game. The team didn't have a spare #23 jersey that would fit him, so Jordan was forced to wear a nameless number 12 practice jersey that the team had for emergencies. Despite the unexpected jersey change, Jordan still put up an impressive 49 points in the game.
