    Next Gen Automation

    I am migrating to Insteon from a X10 system, and these are the basic wall switch. Managed via an Insteon Hub and an iOS software app, they have never missed a beat. The four that I bought on this sales finished my first floor. If you are new to this, there are numerous instructional vids on YouTube.

    You can use the Insteon 2477S switch as a three-way switch without having to run the extra wire.

    Insteon Dual band

    Insteon continues to be a versatile dual band non-broadcast based HA solution. The manufacturer would do better to use higher quality components, but overall it's still a very good product.

    Finally I can control the light

    I have a flood light over a door on the back of my garage. The switch is right bedside that door. Now that I’m using this Insteon switch I can turn the light on or off from my phone, or Alexa, rather than having to go into the garage

    Great Value Great System

    I have owned Insteon for 9 years and before that X10 for 25 years. Although not cheap, it works really well. They have made vast improvements on the software and firmware. I control things at home through Alexa.
