I was using this zoom a lot in an f/5 Newtonian. I am now using an f/10 SCT telescope, and normally the shortest focal length I use is 9mm. So I'm letting this 3-8mm zoom eyepiece go.

Really sharp and high contrast, very goo...
Really sharp and high contrast, very good at all settings with a Takahashi FC100DC. Zoom ring is very hard to release from each click stop and there is mechanical slop in the part of the eyepiece that extends out when zooming but a real bargain compared t9 the TeleVue 3-6 and no visible stray light like the Baader Hyperion Zoom when used with the 2.25x Barlow.

I'm not an eyepiece rater, but this eyepiece works great in my 10" F5 newtonian. It has received very positive reviews on the internet, and I was not disappointed in the least. I like having the ability to dial up the magnification to match seeing conditions without swapping eyepieces.
