    Amazing Camera

    Phenomenal camera, built like a tank. Great meter and selection of lenses. I've had the 50mm 1.8 and 55mm 1.2 both were stellar. The 35mm 2.5 was a big disappointment though. The only real con of the camera is that it is heavy, weighs over 3lbs with the 55 1.2. Everything else is spot on, even better than the AE1. The FT is also great, only difference I see between them is how you select the meter. The FTb has a switch to turn it on/off/check. The FT has a quick lever. Both work well. I use 1.3 alkalines, have seen zero issues with exposures.

    A classic of the late 1960s

    I bought this Canon for my collection of 35mm film cameras, not for actually taking photos. It is in beautiful cosmetic and operational condition. This is a solidly constructed camera body which matches perfectly lenses in my possession.

    Canon workhorse of early 70s

    Canon ftb is tough and reliable,with a dead accurate cds meter which can use modern alkaline cell .It is totally mechnical and it,s shutter does not need any battery. LIterally built like a tank it is highly rcommended for any photographer needing a back up for the temparamental and battery dependaent dslr.

    Beautiful Camera

    I fell in love when I received this camera. Very clean, I feel like it was taken well care. The only thing that stuck out for me was the viewfinder had a few fuzzies. Nothing to unbearable though, the lens was almost new looking, the mirror was clean, the film progressed fine, the light meter seemed to be working good with a new battery as well. I feel very pleased with this buy. Thank you so much.
