To give more details, the box was opened, and there was no packaging on the pencil. The pencil appeared in flawless condition with no wear to the nib. On the exterior, there were no scratches on the pencil. The battery was at 0% upon attaching to the iPad. The exterior box was in rough but acceptable condition, with old adhesive from labels on the outside. I recommend this over buying new.
