      Fitting to a facelift X type

      Purchased these for use on a 2008 facelift X type estate although they are designed for the pre-facelift model. They are expensive but are a quick and neat fit on the correct model. I had seen on the Jaguar Forum they could be modified to fit the later model ( the bumper without the corner inserts) and although it does require a bit of modification a neat result can be achieved. I re-drilled the fixing holes, cut away a small section at the bottom to fit the bumper profile and also had to modify the back of the flaps to suit the wider front flange on the bumper, quite time consuming but worth the effort to keep the underside of the bumper clean.

      Sturdy product. Fits the lines of the car great. Hard to fit than the front. The main problem is the car and the cheap clips they use on it. If I was going to do it again I would send it to a garage to have them fitted.
