    Camera arrived with corroded batteries inside. I cleaned it, but ultimately the camera did not work. I tested with film and fresh batteries. The item was not “mint” or “tested” as described. It was shipped in single use packaging, so I was also left with purchasing packaging in order to return the item. I sent a receipt to the seller for this, but unfortunately, I was not refunded for the costs. Could’ve been corrected by the seller, but the seller didn’t hold up his end of the bargain.

    Older Digital Camera for Current Photography Needs

    Camera is easy to learn and quite capable for wildlife cataloging and viewing. Video processes are smooth. Accessories are still easy to find. Great on a tripod, as well. Recommend Nikon Coolpix P100/P500 for those just learning or on a budget.

    Great little camera.Looks very much like "the big boys"

    While I already have a DSLR, a surprising thing is that this Nikon has a lower starting aperture than NY Canon Rebel's 18-55 mm lens. It's also great to take to a concert or sporting event because since the lens doesn't come off, they'll be more likely to let you in! I was able to bring it to a live music concert and a college football game. I even brought it into an art museum!
