If all you need to do is take notes on the iPad or do some basic drawing, this is totally worth it--and much cheaper than the Pro version. However, if you want more advanced functions, the Pro might be worth considering. (I miss the tap-to-change-tools functionality.) And the charging over USB isn't as elegant as just attaching it to the iPad magnetically (although it will attach magnetically for storage.)
