    Splendid series for fans of nostalgia.

    Inevitably, this poignant series has a somewhat "dated" feel to it. I saw it when it first came out: the characters have an almost Music-Hall quality to them. Not deep, but nostalgic and thought-provoking.

    when i saw this dvd box set of dads army i couldnt believe my eyes , its has always been a favourite of mine to watch on tv and now ive got the whole series on dvd , ive already watched the first series of dads army and it still makes me laugh very much , this dvd box set is great value and its one of my top programmes to watch on dvd when their is little else on normal tv to watch and its very entertaining and always makes me laugh very much so i rate this dvd 100 per cent to watch
