    "Tested everything works" is generous. It works in the way that it plays noise that resembles what is on a given tape. Very inconsistent, left channel

Very inconsistent, left channel often drops out completely or maxes out the meter. Likely just needs cleaning to improve playback. Recording however is abysmal. The signal sounds like it was tossed in a garbage disposal. About what I should've expected from a machine this old at this price. Shipping was pricey for how close I am to the seller.
