    Unusual role for Marilyn Monroe

    This is an unusual role for Marilyn Monroe. She plays a mentally unstable babysitter. Her character is both scary and sympathetic. Richard Widmark plays another multi-faceted character. His girlfriend breaks up with him because he doesn't want commitment and cares only about himself. He sees Monroe through a hotel window and thinks he'll have some fun with her on the rebound, but when he knocks on her door, he gets more than he bargained for. Fans of Monroe or film noir should enjoy this.
