Read the reviews, & we all know some reviews are fake, but took the chance. When I 1st opened it I thought it was flimsy and it'd be a waste of $. But I couldn't have been more wrong. This is fabulous. Controls are on the inside which means no accidental turning off, it reaches temp very fast and best of all, my very frizzy boofy wet hair was straightened within an hour. Love, love love this, definitely recommend
