      Great Authentic Military Compass

      The Real Deal Compass can be a life saver if you get disorientated on hikes thru the woods or stranded from a vehicle breaking down in the middle of nowhere.It has the night glow feature to aid vision at night time. Don't trust your life to those cheaper knock offs and learn to read compass with a topo map old school style. There are courses online to learn navigation in your yard or local park if you can't get to a live course.You can also navigate your course without a map if need be. I'm glad I got this compass of "quality"!!

      These are great,rugged,water and shock proof..top of the line ..shelf life of about 14 years at top of its illumination. This one seems to be at the end of its half life..these are the gold standard in map navigation..

      top notch Compass

      This compass was exactly what I was looking for. It is just what I used in the army. Not too heavy, Rugged! and when your eyes are use to the dark, it is almost like it had a light build in to the compass. The 3H luminescence painted on the direction of travel line and the compass "needle" disc light the compass up so well you can easily see the important features of a compass without using a flashlight. With this compass you can really do night Navigation! It won't be the compasses fault if you get lost. I believe that this is the compass to have. The other compasses are just imitations of this one. This Compass is the compass I will keep with me from now on! and well worth every penny!

      I live by a principle: “buy once, cry once.” Many people will say, “But this $5-$10 compass from ‘x’ does the same exact thing.” They don’t understand, tho. This is a quality tool and it can save your life. Cheap compasses will break. This is built for the rugged military lifestyle. It works great and feels solid.
