    Great little tool

    I bought this shear to cut N scale track and for that it works perfect. My on complaint and a minor one at that is it is about the same size, color and weight as the Xuron sprue cutter and I almost use the sprue cutter which is designed for plastic on track instead of these. I now leave the sprue cutters in the drawer when I'm working on track.

    Xuron 2175B Track Cutter tool

    Xuron is the gold standard in track & wire cutting tools, indispensible for model tract work, only my second one in 25 years of model railroading. First one lost at a train show 2 years ago, so finally replaced it.

    Xuron 90028 2175B

    This track cutting tool works 👌 perfectly; with a percise smooth cut. A lot better than using standard dikes. I personally use them for the N scale, and I'm using flex-track, with lots of it to cut. This pair of track cutting tool is a must have; hopefully, you won't cut your fingers any more like I was from using a hacksaw. And they definitely save me money. Ed, from the Atlantic coast Line.

    A shear delight!

    Cuts HO rails easily and quickly. Good design enables it to cut without a lot of hand pressure, good for oldsters like me. I'm sure it'll cut other materials other than rails, but I have yet to try that yet.
