"Doctor Who: Season 4" is a part of a long running British science fiction television show. This series depicts the adventures of a time traveling, humanoid alien that drops in on human affairs and frequently saves people from other alien interference. He is only known as the Doctor, and he uses his TARDIS, a sentient time machine, to travel through time and space. "Doctor Who: Season 4" is the final season that David Tennant played as the 10th incarnation of the Doctor. The Doctor's faithful companion, Donna Noble, was played by Catherine Tate. The six-disc set includes the 14 regular episodes plus two bonus episodes. The bonus episodes are "Time Crash," which aired on November 16, 2007, and "Voyage of the Damned," which aired on December 25, 2007. The executive producer for this six-disc set of "Doctor Who: Season 4" was Russell T. Davies. Sydney Newman, CE Webber, and Donald Wilson originally created this science fiction drama.

    A Little Bit Let Down

    I'm an enormous Doctor Who fanatic! No ... seriously ... I mean, BIG. So, suffice it to say, while I adore the show, I was saddened by the fact that this DVD collection DOES NOT contain the episodes that lead to David's regeneration to Matt. Those are in a completely different set called "The Complete Specials". So ... now, I have to buy THAT set. :(

    Having grown up with this series I have always found it entertaining. This fourth series especially I appreciated, much of which is due to who plays the Dr. I must admit. But if you are a sci-fi fan, then you will relish watching this and many of the others.
