    Great price and a decent tablet for kid.

    Tablet review: I got this for my daughter because of the parental controls. When reading reviews it sounded really customizable but it's pretty basic. It loads fine and has a good quality screen and can function as a simple adult ereader tablet with a web browser and everything. The kids free time has some great features but you can't completely lock some features like the book app and video buttons on the top of the screen so your kid can access that while in Freetime so for me I don't like that. I want my kid to only be able to use what I put on her screen. Those buttons give suggested apps and videos for your kid based on there age. For older kids I say its fine but I really wanted to limit my kids access to only the apps I want her to use. You may be able to disable the feature but I ...

    Good Quality Tablet

    I like the front and rear facing cameras. I like the quick response in the screen and the layout of the menu bar. I just do not like the battery life. It is only about four hours or so when it is connected to the internet and doing things such as going through Facebook or watching movies. I have not really used it much without the wifi connection so it may actually give the 8 hours as stated. The size is great and the directional response in fast also. Over all it is a great tablet. I would recommend it to anyone that has a desire to watch movies or read a lot of eBooks on it. Some of the apps I have used are fast and the game graphics are superb.

    Easy to navigate but......

    The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 is easy to navigate but when one first turns it on it has this disgusting screen that sometimes is almost impossible to get away from. If my two year old granddaughter powers it up, she touches the screen and goes into these sites. Once I get that cleared out, she is able to watch her videos and view pictures that we have stored for her to enjoy.
