    A fine kit, that can be made better.

    This basic, styrene kit is a fine structure for the beginner. The assembly is easy and all the parts are pre-colored. For the more advanced beginner, a bit more effort can make this an outstanding addition to ones layout. I painted all the parts in more appropriate (to me) colors. After assembly, detailing (signs, accessories and figures) were added. I sanded off the molded-on roofing detail and laminated paper rusty corrugated roofing material from The Model Builder program. With the addition of some cut scrap wood (to resemble lumber), the model occupies a place next to my other [craftsman] kits. For the price, one cannot beat this kit.

    A classic kit at an affordable price.

    The Atlas 750 Lumber Yard is a classic kit going back many years. They have been out of production for several years now and it is unknown when they may return to the market. These kits are suitably detailed for most modelers yet still relatively easy to put together. A couple of evening's work will give you a very credible model of an early lumber yard. These kits are also well suited to kitbashing as well. The 791 stacked mill lumber is the perfect finishing touch for the lumber yard. One or two of those per lumber yard will produce a busy looking industry on anyone's layout. Good detail, good price, quick delivery. Nothing else need be said.

    The details and cuts are wonderful!

    I’ve worked lumber yards all my life (3 to 5 different ones) and this model is as close to the real things as possible! The detail is unmeasured! It’s very similar to my dad and uncles company in Alabama they started in 1974. I love it!
