This heat reclaimer attaches to the stove pipe and captures the heat that would normally be lost up the flue. It is quiet and thermostatically controlled. The unit automatically turns on at 160 degrees Fahrenheit and turns off at 130 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a decorative nickel trim over steel construction for an extended lifespan.

    Loud rattling fan.

    The good - the unit heats the room quickly in the morning. Installation was fairly easy, just remove a 12" section of pipe and put the exchanger in place. The bad - quite a loud and vibrating fan. Rattles come and go but always vibrating. It sounds like a helicopter hovering nearby. Very obnoxious. Really. The manufacturer will not warrany this product if purchased via eBay.

    vogelzand heat reclaimer

    Unit is a simple installation. After installation just plug it in. Comes on and off automatically. Heats the room up twice as fast as without the heater unit.

    Great hot air mover

    I like the control of it only when it reaches temp dose it come one which in the long run saves you money, it heats the room and other rooms if you turn it where it will blow into the other room I will buy another one for my other stove in the back room

    use lost heat

    in a wood burner , most of the heat goes out . this captures the lost heat and puts it back . plus the air movement from the fan .
