Leigh Lombardi stars as a grieving mother who learns to love again in the holiday family film SEASONS OF THE HEART. During a cross-country journey on the American frontier, homesteaders Martha (Lombardi) and Jed Richards (Sam Hennings) are devastated by the death of their twin daughters. Jed attempts to heal the family's pain by adopting an orphan named Daniel (Logan Hall), but Martha resists the boy until a Christmas miracle softens her hardened heart to the wonders of love and family.

    This movie makes you think of children all over the world who have lost a parent of two. It makes you think through the child's mindset and also at what that child's parent had or didn't have in mind in order to have a tenderness toward the child. It presents a case to many adults about what goes through a child's mind and how a child views life and what impacts them and their world, so that the adult may respond to the "challenges" of raising children as Jesus would.
