About this product
Product Information
Get ready to feel the force, young Anakin Skywalker, as you take on over 21 opponents across sand dunes, water worlds, and twisty ice planets in LucasArts' Star Wars: Episode I: Racer for the Dreamcast. Now fans can enjoy reliving the excitement of the Podracing scene from the hit movie, Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace!

There are eight worlds in total, including Aquilaris, Ando Prime, Baroonda, Mon Gazza, Malastare, Oovo IV, Ord Ibanna, and Anakin's home planet of Tatooine. In this 3D racer you'll have control of various Podracer vehicles as you race as Anakin or any of the other creatures. Unlock more Podracers as you sequentially win each of the 21 tracks, ending up with prize money during a tournament game. Make sure you avoid hazards such as methane lakes, meteor showers and even Tusken Raiders!

Vehicle sounds and music are taken directly from the movie, and you'll be introduced to remakes of the race through original CG video clips. A unique feature for this version allows you to upload your high scores via Sega's Dreamcast Network. VGA support and the use of the Jump Pack are also available. The VMU requires four blocks of memory to save game files and six blocks to upload an Add High Scores file for a total of ten blocks; you can save up to five separate games.

Take your vehicle to Watto's shop and buy yourself parts and upgrades, which are supplied in Mos Espa. If you're low on cash, go to the junkyard and purchase some used parts there. Each part has a Performance Bar that indicates the remaining strength and stability. But be on the lookout for damage through the Damage Bar as these are used items! And before actually purchasing your vehicle, you can inspect it in a 3D view. Bonuses include Boost Mode and Sebulba's Flamejet, allowing you to thrust and fire upon an opponent's engine, respectively.

So get ready to launch four feet off the ground, bursting at 600 miles per hour as you re-create Podracing in your very own home with Star Wars: Episode I: Racer for Dreamcast. But watch out for that sneaky Sebulba!

Shipped through FedEx mind you. packaging was very well done and eco-friendly which was kind of cool but in a way that still prevented damage which was appreciated. the quality of the boots was insane for how much they cost highly recommended these are in no way of junk I've accidentally bought junk jungle boots before these are not junk whatsoever and they're very competitive even compared to $80 boots. highly recommended.
