    Good quality at bargain prices.

    Good, older high frequency transducers that have very "live" sound with decent detail. They are said to have a bit of a spike at 12khz but This is very much a subjective issue resolved by your personal tastes and unique hearing characteristics. Your listening room will also make a huge contribution to the sound of any quality speaker. I have several polk speakers with this tweeter and they all sound great in many situations I have used them in. My main goal here is to get great sound at affordable prices and the used Polk speakers from 1980s have been perfect for my needs. I am an audiophile that will listen to music for long periods of time and can't afford the latest tech. There are expensive products that claim more natural, balanced sound. Let your ears and wallet decide.
