About this product

Product Information

PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE is Ed Wood's unintentionally hilarious film in which aliens plan to take over the world by resurrecting only three corpses. Horror icon Bela Lugosi died during production and was replaced by a chiropractor who hid his face behind a cape. The film also features Vampira and wrestler Tor Johnson. Quite possibly the best bad movie ever made, PLAN 9, with its hubcap flying saucers on strings, is sure to entertain.

  • Fun film poorly presented

Plan 9 from Outer Space is one of Ed Woods "best" films. OK no, its so bad that it's great fun to watch for all the mistakes like; scenes go from night to day and back to night. The aliens UFO is round but the rooms inside are rectangular, etc etc. The print of the film used to make this dvd is good but the company has it's logo in the corner of every scene. That may bother anyone who thinks such practices are bogus. To me, the logo helps to make this film even worse, but not in a good way.

  • Probably the best of the 1950's sci films.

A must have for collectors of 1950's flying sauce/alien invasion films.
