    AmpliFi-MeshPoint HD Wi-Fi Range Extender

    This item works a lot better than the regular Wi-Fi range extenders. The way it was explained to me, was the regular ones, receives the signal and then only sends 50% of that signal out, and the meshpoint, receives the signal and sends out 100% of that signal. My roommate uses Wi-Fi and is always trying to improve and nothing worked, very good. I got a Roku and could not get a good signal so I got this, and I am getting a much better signal, and my roommate is glad, he said it worked better now than any of the things he tried.

    Two bar code mesh point is not valid to ...

    Two bar code mesh point is not valid to extend a WiFi network!!!!! This device has worked fine after installation, however I was at risk of buying a useless device. Only single bar code mesh point is able to extend existing mesh WiFi. By contrast two bar code mesh point since they are hard locked to its original router.

    The extra mesh point helps

    We are lucky to have a home on a quarter of a city block. We have the main house, a garage and a carriage house that all use wi-fi. This extra mesh point has really given our system the extra strength of signal we needed. We would get a signal before, but it was spotty and weak.

    It was used but in excellent condition when I received it. I had to call AmpliFi to get direction on adopting the Mesh Point into my system which turned out to be as simple as doing a factory reset of the device. Adoption was quick and the MP is now an active part of my system.

    Great product and seller!

    I would recommend these to anyone who has the AMPLIFI wireless mesh network devices. Check comparability with your product. I’m using them with AMPLIFI 2 box instant network, these mesh points attached to the network no problems. Good results, it greatly enhances the fidelity and coverage of the network.
