    Babylon 5 Complete Set

    I had been wanting to get the complete set of Babylon 5 for years. I had heard that putting the series on discs had been problematic because of the special effects being done differently than the filmed program. I have just seen one movie (The Gathering) and the first episode in season 1. Looks pretty good to me and the movie and episode filled the entire screen as I was expecting black bars on the side. The picture looked great along with the special effects, and I was very happy to see the characters once again after so many years. I felt I received the best deal on this set (as I did shop around) and it is brand new. Although I don't mind purchasing pre-owned if it has been taken care of properly.     Classic Sci-Fi

    Had not known much about Babylon 5. A friend of mine who is a huge Sci-Fi fan recommended the series to me. I am more of a novice Star Trek fan myself and hadn't really diverted my attention over the years to other series. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the story lines and the characters overall. Even though the special effects are a bit cheesy and or obvious, the stories more than make up for those shortcomings. For those of you out there who are serious Sci-Fi fans, I would recommend Babylon 5 as another escape into the vastness of outer space fantasy.

    It is what it says, DVD set of the five year TV series and movies of Babylon 5.

    Big fan of the series. The first season was "low budget" but entertaining but got better as time went on. Also was hard to find as they moved it around. We just took each episode as an individual but suddenly the "oh my god" moment made us realize everything that happened led up to a big event and we wanted to go back and see it all again.

    Great series!

    I wanted to see all seasons and episodes, after talking to some friends about it. We missed some episodes when they were on tv and always thought we'll be able to stream them. No more... The disks are of a great quality and having all at home gives the series continuity. I am a fan of Babylon 5 and I'll recommend it to every fan of SciFi.
