        Good investment if you own Tamron's newer lenses

        The product is of high quality. The software is easy to understand. Upon my first connection, there was a prompt that the firmware for the tap-in console needs to be updated, which I did. I then checked firmware update availability for my 70-200/2.8 G2 lens, there is a newer version available so I did the update too. That update process took longer than I expected, something like 5 min (rough estimate), but it went smoothly otherwise. The only relatively minor point is when the tap-in console is attached to the lens, it took a bit long for the lens to be detected and showed up, something like a minute or so, which is a little strange, it should not have taken that long, I was sitting there wondering why my lens did not show up and worried something is wrong, it turned out, the detection ...

        Amazing Potential

        The whole concept of adjusting a lens is revolutionary. I had purchased a Tamron zoom lens (on eBay): hooked it up, and immediately performed a firmware update. Have not performed micro fpcus adjustments yet, but believe that further tweaking will only improve the performance of the lens. A great add on to any Tamron lens.
