is really as good as they say it is?
Scientists have a saying when something is very good," it works". it does everything it says it can and more. I am sorry I didn't have the money to buy the product years ago. This product does what it says and more. It works. okay here are the facts " it works." I'm not saying this to help some manufacture, this isn't an inappropriate comment . Great product and excellent value, it makes navigating 3D environments a breeze.
I have been using the Space Pilot Pro Mouse with Autodesk Mechanical Desktop and Inventor with great success. It is comfortable, well built, and responsive. The quick keys automatically populate with the most used commands for each program. It takes time to memorize which key represents certain commands and I still find myself checking some keys to be sure. I've been actively using it for a week and the more it is used the more mussle memory will take over. Navigating in a 3D environment is intuitive and natural.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

3D CAD Design go to
One of the best assist tools for 3D Design. I have used these for years still have all 3 and all 3 work and were used daily. I help other design engineers and I catch myself reaching for it and it's not available and really see how much I use it. Great for other software outside of Inventor and Autocad I have 2 of these models and a portable for my laptop. All work just like new ones. This is first used one purchased works like new. Only complaint I use Logitech gaming keyboard and game pad for custom macros and they have lcd menus and only this model driver conflicts with the screen and only shows screen saver on the keyboards tried several versions of drivers with no luck guess time to upgrade keyboards. You would think all being Logitech this would never be a issue and known problem Logitech never addressed that I can find. I tried all the Google search work arounds but no luck. 5 star device 2 star driver conflict programmable gaming keyboards useful tool in Cad design as well. Great for extensive CAD use!
I'm a heavy user of SketchUp. Sure I was making due with just the mouse and keyboard, but sometimes you just need to work more efficiently, which is what the SpacePilot Pro allowed me to do!
