    Good choice for the correct environment

    I bought this fan to help cool my garage workshop and at that task it has performed well within my expectations. The thing moves a huge amount of air! However, that air movement comes with a significant amount of noise. The variable speed is a nice feature and with speed reduction there's noise reduction. However, the noise-focus shifts from air movement noise to motor (whine) noise - lower decibel, but, for me, more annoying. For a non-industrial, non-commercial, non-workshop-type environment I would not recommend this fan. It is sturdy, well built and industrial looking.

    Fantastic fan

    This fan will literally blow you away, it's been 105 with heat index and humidity through the roof the past couple weeks and let me tell you what as long as I keep this this on near me anywhere it's going to move the air, and move it fast, this thing blows like no other fan on the market. It's expensive no one can argue that at all but it puts out like you wouldn't believe, I would recommend anyone that works outside for a living must have a fan like this. It's incredible how much cooler I am at the end of the day now that I bought this fan. Best 400 dollars I've ever spent
