    Good for the price

    This meter is a good meter for the price in that it is a good referance, perfect for SWR. but close enough for watts. It is absolutely fine for my needs. Great price and reasonable quality. I would recomend it for everyday use.

    looks good....uesless

    I ordered this unit, received it within the time limit. looks good, .....However......cannot use it, it does not fit my standard cb cables, it will not fit either the antenna cable, or the jumper cable.. these are standard size for the cobra 29 cb radio...the holes for the connecters are to small to allow the cables to plug in......retuning unit.

    Great little meter

    Would be even better with the added function of testing modulation. However, it does everything thing it says it does. Great for checking the wattage of a barefoot radio, or setting the SWR's on your antenna. Every avid CBer should at the minimum own one of these.

    Great Little Product

    For those of you who are still purists and want the lowest SWR possible, this little gem will do the trick. You just have to know your stuff about trimming your antenna. In my case, the silly engineers at Harley-Davidson had put together a setup that was only good from a motorcycle standpoint. I wound up trimming 3" inches off center conductor wire at the termination, and 2" of fiberglass antenna. My SWR went from a little over 3 to just right at 1.3 on channel 20. This Astatic PDC1 is a great little tool for the job!

    Works as advertised.

    Gets the job done inexpensively. Nice little meter. I just use it for monitoring swr with 150 watts into it seems to be holding up just fine. I'm not concerned in seeing power output although did try briefly and it did peg the needle as I expected it to. With all the wind and ice I get here in Upper Michigan I watch swr all the time. Can't go wrong for 20 bucks!

    Dont work

    I have been using swr meter for years and recently needed a new one so got this one can in I hooked it up and it stayed pegged out so I thought maybe it's my set up so took it to the local shop put a nother meter on it and my swr is fine dont buy this
