    Start of an excellent series

    The DVDs were in excellent shape. The episodes of the first series of Agatha Christie's Poirot were uniformly well done and established the characters that would grow and provide wonderful entertainment for several years. It is interesting to see the development of David Suchet's portrayal even in these episodes. Later ones are even more fully expanded.

    The characters are well rounded and very different. The stories are intrigueing, with mystery to the end. There are cute little relationships between Poirot, Ms. Lemon, Capt. Hasting and Inspector Japp. They all have little quirks that make them interesting and fun. The DVD are in perfect shape and best of all, they are region 1 or free.
