    Suits my needs

    This is older technology, but I was accustomed to using my old eTrex on our annual Canadian fishing trip. When my previous unit died, I found an identiical used one on ebay. Since my old one had served its purpose very well, and I didn't need the more sophisticated features of newer and more expensive models, I purchased this used one.

    Disappointing corroded old batteries left in.

    Garmin etrex came with corroded batteries in it. I have attempted to remove corroded material debris left in battery compartment. Difficult to remove. No instructions sent with item.
