Ethernet connections are supported by installing up to four BladeCenter 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch Modules in module bays one, two, three and four of BladeCenter.This four-port Ethernet switch option provides high-speed Ethernet connections between blade severs and the outside network environment.
