I was a little skeptical when I ordered these but after they arrived I could tell they were of good quality. I got my digital caliper out and measured the outer Factory sealed Edge. Then I measured the factory sealed Edge on the brand name food saver bag. Same thickness. Are then compared them to a another bargain brand that I had here and these are slightly thicker than that other bargain brand. I sealed something up just to try it out and it works just as good as the factory bags and it's been 10 hours in the bag is still fully sealed. Go ahead and order these you will not be disappointed. I ordered two more rolls just to be sure I had plenty here. I was a little skeptical when I ordered these but after they arrived I could tell they were of good quality. good price but not thick enough.
the ziploc vacuum bags are 20% thicker. i will use these up and than look for a deal on the roll of ziploc vacuum bags. if your food stays in your freezer longer than 6 months, than you'll need the thicker ones. if you use things up within 6 months than these would work well. plus my ziploc machine works harder at times with these bags.

Every bit as good...
...as Food Saver bags for less than half the price!!! ive got an original food saver from about 20 years ago that still works. these bags work just fine in it, so I would assume they'll work fine in new machines as well. im a big time steelhead fisherman and these 8 inch rolls are the perfect size for packing fish. came with two rolls at 50 feet each, for only $20 dollars! Good deal and will purchase again
These bags seem to be worth the value. The roll is so large that I had to (unroll) about 1/3 of its length and save it so the rest of the roll would fit in the storage area of my FoodSaver unit. I accidentally ordered the 8" wide roll but its fine and works well but next time I'll order the 11" wide rolls.

Better than the original FoodSaver bags
I'm glad to have found these. The price is right so I don't constantly have to try to figure out the absolute least size bag I can get by with. All of my seals have held correctly, and I can hear the bag have a slight "sizzle" when they are sealed which I find reassuring. I'm buying expensive food these days and keeping it fresh is a high priority for me. I bag homemade soups and main courses frequently because I cook with the intention of having a nice left over. These improve my chances of having that work out well for me and I'll continue to buy them. I like the smaller 6" and larger 11" sizes also.
