      very good alternative for the 4 or 6mb core 2 duo.

      I really love the new approach that intel has done with this cpu series, the overclock-ability and the architecture in general has really putting big numbers on small prices. The 2mb cache with the high clocks are more than enough to counter the 4 and even 6mb of the much expensive version of core 2 duo on most of the applications and games.

      Pentium E6500

      How can you argue with a fair price, low or free shipping costs and it's NEW in the box. Easy to follow installation instructions; I had the unit installed and operating in about 10 minutes! The included fan/heatsink is adequate, but I'd like something with a bit more surface, the fan is quiet and seems to have an adequate air flow to keep the CPU within a comfortable operating-temperature range.

      Intel Pentium E6500 2.93 GHz (BX80571E6500) Processor

      The Intel Dual Core processors are fast and flexible. I build and repair a lot of older computers and to take an older one and bring it to life with one of these dual core 2.93 processors makes it a lot of fun for me. This was a good product at a fair price on eBay.

      Great processor for its price! It's an Intel Core 2 Duo with a Pentium shell. Excellent quality, reliable and great performance!
