I only see 2 layers and the back is that felt like material it is very thin. I was hoping for a thicker back side material so as to be more forgiving of light dust maybe on paint and the cover not sanding at the paint. Again there may be 6 layers but not in the context of the visuals they provide in Ad, maybe more like micron thick. I have not installed yet
