This item arrived quickly and safely - it comes with a little leather label that boasts that is is made from 'REAL LEATHER WITH MAN MADE MATERIAL" So I'm not actually sure if which parts of the bag are actually made of leather, but I guess that's the point. If it's fake, but so good that you can't tell , then it no longer really matters! It is a great bag for the money and just the right size in that one can cram a small umbrella and a pullover into it to be ready for the British weather!
