For starters, keep in mind the primary function of these knives: terminarion of human life. These knives are essentially bayonet blades with basic plastic grips, so as long as you take that into account, it's all good. I'd rate the grips 3/5, points off for round cross section and for being straight back from the blade--ergonomics could be better. I prefer the non-sawback blade myself. Blades are NOT stainless, so be careful to clean before putting away. Edge will shave your arm fresh from the box. Scabbard has a retainer that lends itself to a 2-finger release. The bent section of the guard is for use as a bottle opener, a trick I've only seen on this and a few Spanish knives. Impress your friends by opening bottles with your Glock! Root saw works on the push stroke, by the way. Don't quote me, but I saw a review of thise knife in the early 90s that mentioned it was balanced for throwing, but I may have misread or misremembered. Point geometry would probably take it. This knife is very thick and narrow, remember its primary function, and you won't be disappointedRead full review

Love the knife, but I have to practically bust a knuckle to get it out of the sheath. The release is extremely difficult to maneuver while pulling the knife out. Luckily Glock has manufactured an alternate sheath that supposedly makes it much easier to pull out the knife. I'll definitely be purchasing that soon.

Disclaimer: I'm a Glock fanboy - but this is the first Glock knife I've ever owned. Having said that, I like the knife for what I would use it for - which is as a self defense weapon, should the need arise. As a field knife or survival tool I'd say there are better choices, but as a bayonet type weapon, I like it and recommend it. It's affordable, light weight, and the sheath has excellent retention.

I really haven't used it for anything as of yet. Looks really good and will work for your needs. Blade is about 1 inch wide, most my other knives are larger, the saw on the back I have never been a fan of as it seems to weaken the blade on other knives. I look forward to trying it. It's a little harder to get out of the sheth if you had to get it quick - overall looks and feels durable and you wont loose it. Worth the money, yes! Glock makes some really good products and I for see being like th 1911 - still around after 100 years

Have heard a lot of bad things about the glock knives, and having finally picked one up, I can only be positive in my review. First its a light weight knife, close to Mora companion weight (but is a little more). Second, none of that dull stuff here, came shaving sharp out of the factory package...it still needed improvement, but it did shave hair. Overall, I am very happy with this and will likely buy at least one more. The only down side is the sheath takes about a minute of messing with before you "get it" on how it works one handed, just "stab your trigger finger" into the locking mechanism and pull knife.
