Communicative seller. Product was new as mentioned and arrived in great condition with good packaging (something you really want from overseas shipping). Shipping was a bit pricey, but otherwise all went smoothly.

Great seller! Really fast shipping, safely packed, authentic item exactly as described. Seller also responded really fast when I asked a question. Would buy from again!

I have ordered from this seller before, and both times they have shipped the item exactly as pictured and in perfect condition. The time for it to arrive is also pretty fast, considering they sell from Japan. They also packed the CD very securely. Definitely recommended if you want Japanese-exclusive material for a decent price!

  • Better print than the american release

The print of the theatrical version is a bit better than the American release in my opinion. Slightly 'crisper' and doesn't seem to suffer from digital filtering. Honestly I only compared a couple of scenes but they looked better than my Universal American release. BE WARNED though: The Television 3 or so hour version looks pretty bad. It looks (during certain scenes) as if it was taken from a master video tape version. At it's best it looks like a well mastered DVD. It is presented in the original televised 4:3 aspect ratio unlike the American DVD of the extended edition. As a result you can see much of the screen that was cropped when they released the American version. I noticed this especially in the opening sequence with the goofy drawings depicting the history of the Dune universe. ...

  • The classic Space Epic

A highly influential epic on a Star Wars scale but with better writing. It has amazing visuals that looks as fresh in 2015 as they did in 1984. The film is filled with quirks that will either make you a life time fan or an instant opponent. The adaptation is solid but with one piece of new technology added. Lovers of the novel(s) may be a bit down on that single aspect but I think it serves the purposes of the film better. If you love scifi, David Lynch or are a buff for pre-cgi special effects this is a must watch. The Japan only 30th anniversary edition comes with a cut of the film in no other version. I was put together by a french film director to French TV, its a director's cut but not by the original director... very unique. If you are already a dune nerd this is worth a ...

  • Simply BASE

This is by far the STUPIDEST and BASEST movie I have ever seen : there is no transcendence in it, all characters are only motivated by self interest - it's a hollow and depressing humanity that is depicted within it... Besides, its exoticism is dated - it might have had a hint of novelty or of authenticity for an American audience in 1965 when the novel was first published, but to a European audience the subject would have seemed, even then, exhausted and plainly kitsch (years of Orientalism ended up drying up everybody's interest in a supposedly nobler otherness...) For a modern audience, there is nothing left to this movie than a plethora of exceedingly archaic visual effects and a few particularly repulsive scenes... BAD, BAD, BAD in all the senses of the word!
