I have a few other type of reverb pedals but this particular stands out in a very vintage way. The reverb is as close to real spring reverb sound as I have ever come across. It has that vintage Blackface spring reverb sound I was looking for. The Vibrato side of the pedal sounds great but not as authentic sounding like the reverb side of the pedal. It's a little noisy but it works for the need. Over all give this VHT pedal a 4.5 for size and sound. If you are a Fender Blackface reverb/vibrato type sound lover you will love this pedal.

I was looking for an in expensive Reverb pedal. I saw this VHT pedal that gave you both Reverb & Tremolo. Thinking it was a VHT how bad can it be. Well, i should have looked the other way. It's really not a good pedal. The Reverb sounds fake. I wasn't planning on a Tremolo pedal but since it was there i thought I'd give it try, again not that good. I'm happy that it didn't cost me much because I used my ebay bucks to buy it, i will most likely re-sell it and put some more $$ out for a better Reverb pedal. You may try it and like, everyone has there opinion but I wasn't impressed with it plus the switch's are not smooth, you really have to push them down hard.

I’m a professional musician, and I run a large rig live; a Fender Prosonic amp and a large pedal board full of effects, but I decided a while ago to add a second rig for studio and smaller venues. So after a fair amount of research, I got a Vox AC4/12 combo, and while I really like the tone of it, it desperately needed reverb. I’ve been searching for the right pedal to do the trick, and when I saw that this one also does tremolo, I knew I had to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did; both functions of this pedal are incredible! Took a good sounding amp and made it great! Very well built and sturdy, and the layout and control interface makes perfect sense, right off the bat. The only bummer is that it requires an external power supply which is not included, although it’ll run off of a OneSpot, so not really a deal breaker. All in all, if you’re looking for a solid, well built, intuitive pedal to add reverb to any amp, and you like that vintage Fender spring reverb sound, do yourself a favor and check this thing out.Read full review

I bought this item for a newer Marshall amp. The amp had no tremolo and the reverb was thin. This unit truly gives the old time tube amp reverb sound and great tremolo. With separate mix ,depth, and speed controls it is infinitely adjustable to your taste. I love it

I'm sworn to spring reverb, but the prices on those are out of the question. I took a gamble on this pedal and after some time spent tweaking the settings, got a very useable sound. Not quite a Fender sound, but close enough for the projects I need it for. And at a fraction of the cost of a boutique pedal! I use it primarily in my clean country guitar chain and A/B it for use with my lap steel. Nice!
