having used the Sony A6000 for a few years, I noticed that the small size of the A6000 and my big hands, made me make mistakes with the settings during making pictures. I started to look at bigger Sony e-mount camera's and found this A3000. This camera is almost as new and I already make better pictures with this camera and my old e-mount lenses.

Bought as a second camera as back up for my Sony Alpha A65. I wanted a viewfinder in addition to the rear screen and a camera that was simple to operate so that my wife could use it. The A3000 is light and quite small for a camera with APS C size sensor. My only complaint is the lack of connection for a remote release. It appears to be well built and the menu system is easy to operate. The viewfinder is a bit small. The kit lens performs really well, I had read that it was slow when focussing but I have found it quite fast. The A3000 has focussed correctly on complex subjects when my A65 as failed to do so. Optically the lens is fantastic. The low light performance of the camera is good. For someone looking for DSLR like handling but in a smaller, lighter package the A3000 is ideal.
