Headphones fit firmly around the ear so there's almost no chance of them slipping out, even during exercise. The sound quality is excellent--a bit TOO excellent, as they make everything sound five times louder than my previous headphones did! No complaints, though. The only complaint I do have is that the buds themselves are a little too big; wearing them for a while will make my outer ears itchy and sore. An easy solution is to just not shove them in too deep. Overall a really good product for the price.

While the casing of the headphones is similar to the original Sony that I have enjoyed for years, the sound quality on these headphones are not good, and their authenticity is highly questionable. I love this style so much I bought 4 pairs when I found them on eBay, but when they arrived in an overseas parcel in tiny plastic bags (not the OEM packaging), I was suspicious. When I plugged the headphones in and heard the tinny, distorted sound, I knew these were not original. Would not purchase again.

Many headphones these days are centered on sound isolation and great sound reproduction. There is a time and a place for that. But sometimes I actually want to be able to hear ambient sound at the office, on the street or at home. These are very comfortable, very cheap for what they are, and produce decent sound. I love how these feel around my ear, you don't have to stick them in your ear deeply like many other in-ear ones. There is no robber thing on them. The main problem I've ran into, is ear wax does get into the tiny holes on it and over time can decrease the quality. I've also had a couple of pairs break on me. But I actually have 3 working pairs now cause they are so cheap I have them like in every bag and at work.

Sony raised these $8 to $15 dollar headphones on Amazon up to $50 or more. W T H ? How greedy and crappy is that? These J10 headphones have always been around $10 bucks. Only last year did Sony think it was reasonable to make a headphone that must cost them 0.50 cents to make and raise it to $50..... and without doing anything to make them better. As is, the headphones, for me, are great. But too, the wire connection only last about 3 or 4 months before ordinary use shorts one side out. Thanks Sony for trying to rip us off! Ken in Hawaii

These headphones are really good if you go workout at the gym, run, riding a bicycle. It doesn't fall off. The quality sound is 7/10 because Is okay for me. I don't need expansive headphones. I am happy with these Sony...this is my 3rd time buying these headphones. My first ones I bought in 2006.
