    Easy to set up

    Ease of set up makes this a good purchase. Instruction sheet was spot on in what to do. The unit has worked well with only complaint is range, wanted it to reach my shop and while it does for best connection iPad must be located in open window closest to house. Still better than I expected and more than advertised

    Not quite good as it sounds

    The range cannot be extended far. After 40 feet from this extender without wall, the wifi speed drops quickly, from 60 MB/s to about 10 MB/s. it is even worse when through wall or floor. There seems to be a limit on speed of AC band which cannot get over 60 MB/s even my router can deliver 160 MB/s and I set this device next to it to test. There is no info to mention it. Once in a while, the signal gets weak and the wifi speed drops and I need to reset (re-seat) this extender to get the speed back up to 60 MB/s like suggestion from other reviews. The price seems good but you get what you pay for. Anyway, if the need to range extension is not big (less than 40 feet) and the wifi speed is not faster than 60 MB/s, this extender is fine. Otherwise, it won't meet the expectation.

    Works O.K.

    Does what it's supposed to, but drops out intermittently. Unplugging it and plugging it back in fixes the problem, but it's really annoying. Also it only connects to my D-Link router at 144Mbs, whereas if I connect directly to my router it hits 300Mbs, but with a weaker signal. It does boost the signal for the weaker devices at the far end of the house, but speed and dropping could be fixed.

    Easy setup...network name issue.

    Easy setup. First time buying wi-fi extenders...thought the extension network would have same name as my router network...does not, so I have to change the network name/connection when o go into the "ext" area. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

    DOA

    DOA happens. Unfortunately, however, help not available. Their call center had me on hold for over 30 minutes - I could not stay on to find out the actual wait time. Also, their support center does not respond to emails. You better hope it works or is easy to return.
