The Garmin WiFi scale uploads my data seamlessly to the Garmin connect. Provides other great pieces of information besides your weight such as BMI. Its nice being able to track your weight over time without much effort on your part. Large well lit number make the scale easy to read.

I love the different stats that the scale keeps track of as well as how quickly it synchs to your Connect account. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, and once it weighed me at 11 lbs less than the day before. I knew that couldn't be right and stepped on it a second time. That time it gave me the weight closer to what I knew I weighed. It just made question the accuracy of any of the stats.

I have the fitbit scale but wanted to move everything over to the Garmin eco-system, as I have a garmin watch and bike computer. Hence i bought the Garmin Index smart scale. It was easy to set up and connect to my wifi. It has more information then the fitbit scale, such as bone weight, BMI, body fat % etc.

I recently got a VivoActive watch for myself and a VivoSmart watch for my wife. Along with the Garmin Connect app on your phone, this scale works amazing. I love all the detailed info it provides. I only have two issues with it. Although it can work with up to 16 users, changing users (if it registers the wrong one) is a bit of a pain. Instructions say to "tap" on the scale to change. More like stomp to get it to trigger. Even though it will sometimes trigger power on simply by you walking by it. I really wish it had a small button on top to touch to power on and switch users easily. My other issue is that it doesn't seem to like sending the data to the correct day on the Connect app if you scale late in the day. I usually scale between 5:30-6:00p each night. This info registers to the current day as it should. However, it seems if I wait until around 8:00p to scale, it doesn't register for that day on the weight tab. It will register it on the next day. It will however show that scaling on the calendar for the correct day. Go figure. Not sure if this is a glitch or something I need to calibrate. Plan on contacting Garmin to figure this one out. Otherwise, I highly recommend this scale.Read full review
