    replacement valve

    Received valve and opened package to install it. I immediately realized that the the lines feeding ice maker and water dispenser had a different type of attachment. The new valve used a push in type of connection instead of the original compression fit. Package was suppose to contain parts to adapt, but one of the lines (water dispenser) wasn't included as they had two ice maker lines instead. (The water line is of a larger diameter.) Luckily there was enough slack in original lines for me to cut off old compression fitting and use them on new valve directly. Long story short is valve is installed and I have ice again.

    Fixed our problem

    We were getting a small "glacier" built up at the rear of our ice maker and down the back of the inside freezer area. I figured that the ice-maker valve was not shutting off completely after I removed the ice maker and saw an occasional drip of water coming from the feed tube. I ordered and replaced the valve assembly at the bottom rear of the frige and "viola", no more ice build up. This valve and connectors were exactly like the original valve, so I didn't have to alter any water lines or electrical connections. So easy, even I could do it.

    Not much work to install

    I bought this because, I had a slow water discharge at the water fill on our refrigerator. The price was reasonable, came quick, and installed easy. Just had to cut off two plastic lines and push them in the new valve. Used my old 1/4 copper line and nut, it threaded right on new valve. No leaks and a lot of pressure on the water fill valve on our refrigerator. Thanks!

    Easy to install!

    Part had great instructions, was easy to install. Worked great after I ran a gallon through the water dispenser, cycling every five seconds or so. No more dripping! Wife is happy now that we have ice!
