I'm a guitarist in a duo that plays fairly aggressive music outdoors mostly through the summer. A brewery wanted us to play inside during the winter but we needed to pair down our equipment to fit the space. We both play Marshall combos so things still had to "sound right"...using the Baby Bomb and a Nu-x Trident, I'm super impressed! This little thing is incredibly loud! (I'll probably never crank it up enough to push it into it's own overdrive range) Love this little amp!

    Baby Bomb

I was pleasantly surprised by this amp pedal. I plugged it into a 1x12 cab and played guitar through a sansamp clone. It had a nice feel and sound for what it was. It was also pretty loud. (My ears were ringing the next day.) I then played my Roland keyboard through the Baby Bomb and the 1x12. it worked pretty well, although it may benefit from having some option for EQ. All in all, I think its a nice option to power preamp pedals or amp modeler pedals. You can use it to avoid lugging an amp around to practice or small gigs, or as a back up if your actual amp goes out. Even without the sansamp, it was able to get a bit of crunch when cranked up. I wouldn't forgo a real amplifier, but for price, portability, and sound, its nice to have around.

  • Knocks it out of the park, with just a few nitpicks.

I'd give it 4.5 if it could, because it's just barely not a 5 star item. Things it does well: 1. Volume: holy heck, this thing gets loud. Giggable for sure, loud enough to keep up with a drummer. I'm my practice space, even having the volume at about 10 o'clock is too loud. At noon, it shakes the whole room. I haven't made it past that yet, even with ear protection. 2. Sound: The Warm/Bright switch is very subtle, but helps dial in the presence of the power amp to match whatever speaker or room you're using. If that switch doesn't quite get you where you want to be, turn up the trebel on whatever you're using as a preamp (for me it's a mooer micro preamp Day Tripper), as that's what it's there for. It also stays very clean, not adding any additional breakup to the sound. Supposedly it's ...

  • Impressive power pedal; run a 4x12!😳

I'm not gonna lie, I doubted if this tiny little pedal could push my 4x12 guitar cab. Surprise, it's does. And I didn't have to crank it. The bright/warm clipping switch is handy when you're running lots of different amp models through you chain. Some of my high gain settings get nice and smooth on the warmer setting.

  • Incredible value!

I bought this pedal amp along with the two stones pedal preamp. These 2 put out a pretty good sound in my basement and I gig-tested them last night at a bar. The sound was gorgeous in the context of a 4 piece band ( I was also using reverb and delay). My guitar could be heard very easily without using a lot of volume. I should mention that the amp at 11 o'clock position was too loud. Although I've only been using these for a week, I am extremely happy with this very light setup. Can't wait to take it out again.

  • WOW,WOW,WOW! LOUD,LOUD,LOUD!

The perfect pedal platform for an unbelievable price. Power it up, then plug your speaker cab in, in order to avoid a loud pop sound. Plenty of headroom with 30 watts, drives 4x12 cab effortless. Really impressed with the output wattage for the size of the unit. Can be used with a hard-hitting drummer with no problem. WOW!
