This item works as you would expect. It keeps you cool and does not make you wet as long as it set up well. the spray is very fine and not noisy. Its connections work well for many over head surfaces however if you need more coverage then a splitter is needed, you can not add to the length with what is given in the package. another note is the warning on the package about cancer causing studies (I do not know what study was done and would recommend further research id this is a large concern).This item works as you would expect. Air Conditioner Heat Exchange Coil Cooling
We have 100+ degrees of dry heat for a few months here on the high desert of S. California. For about five summers past, I used a small evaporative cooler to pre-cool the airflow into my 8000 Btu AC window unit. Frugal Senile Senior thinking perhaps, but a nickel’s worth of electricity saved is a nickel I can spend on something else. For the last two years I’ve pre-cooled the airflow into the AC by using only 2 of these 6 mister nozzles, one on each side. Misting the airflow on its way in seems to assist the AC with the heavier heat loads, and I surmise that the electricity I save now is measured in dollars rather than nickels. There may be corrosion issues and earlier unit failure with this method of pre-cooling, so there could be some considerable disadvantages. I collect the runoff ... PERFECT FOR MY AVIARY
I have been using these in my aviary for several years now and have found them to really be a life saver. When our temps get up to the high 90's to 100 degree mark..........it actually does cool the temperature down by 20 degrees (as advertised)....and very quickly. They are easy to install. I often have mine running most of the day, seven days a week, throughout the warm weather months, and they usually last a couple of years before I replace them. Since they are inexpensive.....I feel I get a lot for my money......and my birds feel like they are in paradise. I wouldn't be without them.I have been using these in my aviary for several years now and have found them to really be a life saver. For return Purpose, it is advisable , by me, to use their 15 dollar "Orbit" calcium inhibitor filter. " FOR COLD WATER, OUTSIDE IRRIGATION" "NOT FOR USE ON APPLIANCES" filter does not state any % of contaminat removal .
