The real cake from Austria: 1. rich taste of ground almonds and cocoa, the cake is firm and slightly crisp 2. it has a thin layer of raspberry preserves. Dutch Oven version: 1. cake is soggy and has little flavor 2. has artificial bitter almond FLAVORING 3. a top layer of soggy almond paste 4. instead of real raspberry jam this cake has a thick, gelatinous layer of paste. I regret the purchase.
