Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii, 2009)
Neat game. You can literally drawn certain things in the game and they become part of the game, including the main character. Adventure game that becomes more difficult as you go along. I've found my 5 and 6 year old need help on the second level, mainly jumping over and across certain things. Two things I don't like: 1)the pallete they use to paint with have colors that are very close together and can become frustrating because the remote is sensitive so you can continually pick the colors you don't want and have to go back and change colors; 2)the way the main character loses "power", he loses his colors you painted on his outfit until he looks like a walking corpse, literally. He's small but his entire body is brown with no detail (eyes, mouth, hair) so it looks strange to me. My ... Neat game. I guess imagine a potato running around with potato arms and legs. Pretty much how he looks after he loses his colors. Neat adventure, goes into houses and trees with doors. Lots of jumping and it must be mastered as the game goes on. Characters in game are kid-friendly so far, haven't advanced much though, we'll see.

I am a 22 year old kid at heart, and so far I am enjoying this game :) the only downsides I really have stumbled across thus far have been the loading time (the game has to load every time you go to an easel to draw and when returning from the easel)and also the difficulty. For me it is not bad, but I have to wonder if a child could do this without help. I guess that is another opportunity for some parent/child bonding, though! My children love this game they can draw what they want things to look like. The game has diffent levels , or areas that must be unlocked and each area that you complet, you gaine objects that inhance the game play. This is a game for everyone. My children are 12, and 13 this age is hard to satisfy . So for them to enjoy this game and play it for hours at a time. It's a good game!
